Object Description & Interpretation
This wall art printed on a cushion "Flower Fields" shows a meadow with countless flowers. The horizon line clearly divides the image into two halves. The lower half of the image shows a field or meadow. Flowers grow there in the most colorful colors, with red clearly dominating. Blue, yellow, and orange flowers can also be seen sporadically. At the bottom edge, a field path is suggested in the center, inviting us to stroll through the sea of flowers. It is not hard to imagine the light breeze that makes the flowers and grass sway. In the center of the image, we see a clear horizon. There stands a crooked tree that has defied the winds for countless generations. We cannot see the end of the meadow, so the image gives an impression of endlessness. The deep blue sky draws the viewer's eye mostly to the curved brushstrokes. The latter illustrate the dynamics of the sky and show the power of the wind blowing over the field. Some white parts of the image suggest clouds, and at the very top, we see a hint of yellow. Surely the sun is shining on some clouds here. Overall, the deep blue of the sky creates a cool mood. The red of the flowers also has a blue color component that contributes to this.
